Xizang (Tibet) stands at the influence of three civilizations, the Turko-Mongolian, the Chinese and the Indian. Enriched from time to time by influences from these, its own ancient tradition has developed in high isolation from the rest of the civilized world. This tradition embraces a very distinctive way of life as well as religion, culture, art, political and economical structure all its own.

Tibet's uniqueness and its special "unity" with China made the Xizang (Tibet) issue a complicated one. This site is dedicated to the controversial issue of Xizang (Tibet) - whether it should be dependent or autonomous.
